Detroit 25-26 Team Registration

The Hockey North America (HNA) Winter 2025-2026 Program is now available for registration. The 25-26 season will be HNA's 46th season of operation!

Registration in HNA is done by the team fee format. Step 1 in signing up for the 25-26 season is making your team's deposit, using the payment link below. Program information, including links to the Rules & Policy Guide is also below.

Registering via the team fee format allows the team to carry as many as 22 skaters, enabling you to spread the cost to play out, as well as keep a full bench if you have teammates that travel regularly. Note that each team member still needs to have a team jersey with a unique number attached to the jersey.

- The Price for Hockey North America in 25-26 will be a team fee of $8,450 spread out over 5 payments.

- The 25-26 season will be at least 25 games with a 23 game regular season and all fully paid teams will qualify for the season-end double elimination playoff round. In addition, qualifying playoff teams will advance to the Hockey North America League Championships June, 2026

- There are no extra fees or interest charged for timely installment payments. There are no extra player registration fees for players that complete the individual registration process by October 15th.

For all team members: Each team member will need to complete the registration process, which includes completing a waiver. All rostered members of each team must complete this quick/easy (and prior to October 15th - free) process. Captains - be sure to instruct your team members to complete the registration process prior to your first game. Note that new players to the team must still participate & be approved to play with the team at an upcoming evaluation date (dates to be posted in the "notices" section). Individuals may sign up by going to hna.com / menu / registration / scroll to Detroit Winter 25-26. For first time users, create an account (very easy to do) then return to the regisration page and register. Registrations prior to October 15th are at no cost. After October 15th a small fee will apply. Once complete the player will received, via email, a program description, along with a copy of the player waiver.

Welcome to 2025-2026 Winter Hockey - HNA's 46th Season!

- 25 Game Regular Season (23 Regular Season + at least 2 playoff games, as part of double elimination playoffs)
- All fully paid teams qualify for the year end playoff round
- 90 minute ice slots
- Game Format: 3 - 15 Minute Stop Time Periods
- 5 Minute OT played in tie games, time permitting.
- Detailed Stat Tracking & Regular Website Updates
- Individual & Team Awards to winning teams.
- Season is expected to begin early October
- Qualifying winning playoff teams advance to the HNA Finals, July 2026.
- Arenas will be: the DISC (Dearborn). Other arenas may be added as needed

A team roster must be submitted prior to schedule generation. Any subsequent roster changes must receive prior approval by the League Administrator. All skaters must have a unique number attached to their team jersey. All skating players must have a team jersey, which is the same jersey as other team members, with team logo & a unique number attached.

A HECC or CSA approved ice hockey helmet is required of all skaters. Each skater must wear at least a 1/2 shield / visor facial protection. No exceptions. All players & goaltenders must use protective equipment designed specifically for ice hockey. Hockey North America is a no checking / no fighting league that emphasizes safety and parity for adults players over 21 years of age. The full playing rules & League policies are available in the "downloads" section of hna.com.

Teams must maintain a current payment account to be eligible for scheduled games or playoffs.
