Winter 25-26 New Member Evaluation Skates Now Scheduled:
Sunday September 21st, 9:00 PM Rockville Ice Arena
The HNA Evaluation Skate is free to attend. All new players to HNA need to attend either one of these skates in order to be placed on a team for the season. Bring full equipment and be prepared to skate. The skate allows us to review and evaluate your skillset so we can get you placed on a team where you will be competitive. You'll be able to meet members of League Administration and have any questions about the program answered.
You can pre-register for an upcoming evaluation skate by going to Menu / Registration / scroll to Washington, DC 25-26 Winter League. Create an account (or log in) and complete the registration process.

For the 25-26 season. Be sure to make note of the following.
1. Any player or goaltender, full time / part time / sub, etc.. - must be registered to play for 25-26. Registration may be done via the hna.com website. Any new players added to a roster must be approved by Mike Schick AND registered before playing in any game. Registration is currently free. After October 15 there will be a small registration fee.
2. Jersey enforcement begins January 15th. DO NOT wait until the 15th to order your jersey as you will miss games. After January 15th anyone without a team jersey will be removed from play until corrected.
3. One Player / One Number. Note that if a team has multiple players wearing the same jersey number, any penalties - particularly major penalties - will convey to all players listed with that number in question. For example, if you have 2 "#6's" and one of them takes a major, all "#6's" will be disciplined. However, if two or more players are listed with the same number, only one person will be counted as playing in the game, which means the other players will not get playing credit towards playoff eligibility. All players are required to have a unique number when skating with any team.
4. Roster Freeze. The 25/26 Intermediate league roster freeze will go into effect on December 31st, 2025. After that date no skaters may be added to the playing roster.
5. Adding Players to Your Team. You must give program manager Mike Schick advanced notice of any roster changes before a player skates in a game.
