Good afternoon, I know a good number of people on this distribution list are on vacation so I’ll start here by saying there is nothing specifically urgent in this email. So if you’re just getting back from vacation, don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything. This email confirms that I have your team as registered for Hershey 2023.
2023 marks the 14
th anniversary of the Hershey tournament. We’re fortunate to be able to have this level of access to both the Giant Center and the Hersheypark Arenas. Please remember when recruiting to bring players that will exhibit a level of respect for the buildings.
Tournament Dates: The games will take place the weekend of September 29,30 and October 1. The arenas will be either the Giant Center or Hersheypark Arenas. Both are stadium sized facilities located on the grounds of Hersheypark.
Will the Park Be Open: Yes, the park will have the following hours so you/teammates/family can go into the park during the tournament.
Friday, September 29
th: 5PM – 10PM
Saturday, September 30
th: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Sunday, October 1: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Playing & The Park: You should be able to enter / exit the park so you can hit some of the rides while the tournament is going on. Upon exit you’ll receive a handstamp. Just make sure you don’t wash/sweat the stamp off after playing.
Parking: Parking is free to tournament attendees. Before we all head out I’ll be sending everyone directions on where to park.

Tournament Ice TimesThe tournament will start at 2PM on Friday and, like last year, some teams will play 2 games on Friday. All teams will get 4 games over the weekend. The last game of the tournament will end no later than 4PM on Sunday.
Over the next few weeks you’ll start to see the schedule being built, along with the range of ice times at both arenas. There will be the Hershey Bears training camps skates also taking place while we’re there so be sure to be respectful of the Bear’s space when we’re coming in and they’re heading out.
